Before we pressure clean any patio we always try to assess if any pre-treatment is required first. Green algae, lichen, moss, grease marks from barbecues and bird stains are common problems. Green algae is a particula issue as it can be very slippery when wet and can result in the patio becoming quite dangerous to walk on when wet. Health and safety is important, especially on commercial patio areas in pubs and hotels, so making sure these patio areas are kept clean is a must.

To ensure we can clean any patio in line with our customers' expectations, we use moss removers and anti-fungicides to kill off moss and algae on the patio. After we have done this, we can then pressure wash the patio with a high powered pressure washer to remove any dirt, grime or bird stains that may have accumulated over time on the surface of the patio. Once we have pressure washed the patio, we will then (if required) apply a good quality patio sealer or natural stone sealer from Smartseal to help keep your patio looking like new.
